We are looking for a creative and education-focused Digital Art Curriculum Developer who understands both digital art and how children learn to help us develop a structured, engaging, and age-appropriate Digital Art curriculum for students in Grades 3 to 8.
Responsibility
- Designing the Digital Art Curriculum and Learning Progression for Grades 3 to 8.
- Creating a well-articulated progression by grade and level, with concepts and skills progressing naturally from one grade to the next.
- Selecting age-appropriate digital art concepts, tools, techniques, and skills.
- Creating learning objectives, topics, activities, projects, and chapter/lesson outlines.
- Planning hands-on activities that inspire creativity, experimentation, exploration, and expression in your students.
- Introducing students to areas including but not limited to digital drawing, digital illustration, digital painting, visual composition, creative design, and other age-appropriate digital art skills.
- Ensuring that the course you develop is practical and applicable to a school classroom setting.
- Creating projects that will provide the opportunity for students to apply the acquired skills rather than just follow the tutorial.
- Collaborating with the editorial and academic team to enhance the curriculum and its progression.
- Analyzing existing literature on digital art education and improving the learning process.
What we’re looking for
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Digital Art, Illustration, Graphic Design, Animation, or a related creative field.
- Experience working with digital art tools/software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Krita, Canva, or similar platforms.
- A positive understanding of art fundamentals such as drawing, colour, composition, shapes, perspective, visual storytelling, etc.
- Ability to break down complex creative skills into simple, age-appropriate learning steps.
- Strong understanding of how to create project-based and activity-based learning experiences.
- Good content development and writing skills.
- Ability to think beyond individual lessons and build a coherent learning journey across Grades 3–8.
- Familiarity with school curriculum development, CBSE/ICSE/NCERT frameworks, or K–12 education will be an advantage.
Eligibility
- Degree/Diploma/Professional qualification in Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia, Visual Communication, Education, or related disciplines.
- Experience in digital art, design, illustration, animation, or curriculum/content creation.
- Digital artists, teachers, illustrators, designers, curriculum developers, and creative people with relevant experience are all welcome to apply.
If you love mixing creativity + technology + education, then this could be an exciting project for you to work on.
