DevOps Engineer P1 4+years "Bachelor's of Engineering or equivalent qualification.

AWS trained or certified professional.

Experience in CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Expertise in provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform and Jenkins.

Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Microservices architecture.

SME-level knowledge of API Gateway and CloudFront/WAF specialization.

Good understanding of Layer 7 routing.

Experience in writing Chef cookbooks and recipes for automating middleware installations like Apache Tomcat, JDK, Oracle, and workplace configurations.

Work closely with Product Development teams to understand requirements and recommend suitable software solutions.

Create high-level infrastructure diagrams including servers, storage, security policies, IAM roles, application structures, load balancers, and database flows.

Design backup and disaster recovery strategies with RTO (Recovery Time Objective) and RPO (Recovery Point Objective).

Develop Disaster Recovery sites with failover architecture and near-zero data loss.

Analyze server load and traffic to recommend suitable AWS instance types such as m3.xlarge or m5.xlarge.

Optimize AWS EBS volumes and continuously monitor AWS infrastructure costs.

Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ALB, S3, and VPC.

Monitor budget allocations and configure alerts for cost overruns.

Perform sanity testing to ensure system stability.

Enforce restricted server access for security and operational efficiency.

Guide team members in automating new requirements.





Develop Chef cookbooks for software installations and maintain Chef databags, roles, and node integrations.

Conduct training sessions on new software, automation, and implementations.

Create and manage Production and Demo infrastructures separately from QA and Development environments.

Ensure all services remain operational during client demos and marketing activities.

Provide day-to-day support to Production, QA, and Development teams during issues and releases.

Ensure zero server outages during deployment activities using ITIL processes.

Act as the primary point of contact during Change Management calls with development teams.

Configure Jenkins for Continuous Integration and automation.

Monitor and manage configuration management using Chef.

Conduct technical interviews for new employees.

Manage shift rosters and allocate tasks to team members.

Design, integrate, and manage AWS cloud solutions.

Provision EC2 instances using Jenkins automation.

Configure and manage Amazon RDS, VPC, Security Groups, Route 53, and AWS CLI.

Create and maintain troubleshooting, maintenance, and configuration documentation.

Configure server monitoring alerts and notifications.

Perform build activities using Maven and Jenkins.

Support Software Engineers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.

Provide regular project status updates and reporting.

Keep project managers and stakeholders informed about progress, issues, and risks.
