Job Title: Device Driver Developer

Location: Bengaluru

Role Overview/Job Responsibilities

:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Device Driver Developer to join our BSP team. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of hands-on experience in developing and debugging device drivers for embedded platforms using RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS and Zephyr RTOS. The role involves close collaboration with hardware engineers and embedded software teams to bring up and optimize board peripherals, SoC interfaces, and other low-level hardware components.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain device drivers for hardware interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO.
- Integrate and customize device drivers for Zephyr RTOS and other embedded operating systems.




- Work closely with hardware teams to interpret datasheets and support new silicon bring-up and BSP development.
- Perform low-level debugging using tools such as oscilloscopes, JTAG, logic analyzers, and UART logs.
- Analyze and resolve performance, memory, and power-related issues at the kernel and driver level.
- Contribute to board bring-up and system-level optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 5–8 years of experience in device driver development on RTOS platforms.
- Strong proficiency in C programming, with a solid understanding of concurrency and synchronization.
- Hands-on experience with at least one RTOS (Zephyr, FreeRTOS, VxWorks, QNX, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics, datasheets, and perform board-level debugging.
- Experience in BSP development for ARM-based SoCs (NXP, STMicroelectronics, TI, Renesas, Qualcomm, etc.).
- Proficiency with Git, build systems (CMake or similar), and cross-compilation toolchains.
