Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with expertise in Architecture, Electrical Systems, and HVAC Design. The candidate will be responsible for preparing integrated building designs, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering services, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards, and delivering efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Design

- Prepare architectural layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
- Develop space planning and functional building designs based on project requirements.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services.
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations, fire safety, accessibility, and sustainability standards.
- Prepare construction documentation and assist during project execution.

Electrical Design
- Design LV electrical distribution systems, lighting, power, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
- Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), load calculations, cable sizing, and panel schedules.
- Design emergency lighting, UPS, DG backup, and fire alarm systems.
- Coordinate electrical layouts with architectural and MEP disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, IS Codes, NFPA, and local electrical regulations.

HVAC Design
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations using industry standards.
- Design air conditioning, ventilation, chilled water, ductwork, piping, and exhaust systems.
- Prepare HVAC layouts, duct sizing,



equipment selection, and BOQs.
- Coordinate HVAC services with architectural, structural, and electrical teams.
- Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NBC, and local building codes.

General Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software.
- Perform multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection.
- Review shop drawings and technical submittals.
- Participate in design reviews and client meetings.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, BOQs, and cost estimates.
- Support project execution and resolve site-related design issues.
- Ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project schedules.
- Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (HVAC), or a related discipline.
- 3–10 years of experience in building design or MEP consulting (experience range may vary based on role level).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of design software such as HAP, Carrier HAP, ETAP, Dialux EVO, or similar tools is preferred.
- Strong understanding of building codes,



engineering standards, and multidisciplinary coordination.
