Collections Specialist Job Responsibilities: ​​ Actively engage in the collection of overdue debt using various communication methods like phone, email, and official correspondence. Analyze client accounts to identify discrepancies and work towards prompt resolution of payment issues. Identify root causes of late payment , short-payment, or non-payment and develop a plan to re solve.

Perform in-depth research into payments and prepare account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy. Maintain performance metrics and create detailed reports to track collection efforts and outcomes. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth resolution of customer disputes.

Provide recommendations for improving collection strategies and reducing aged debts. Stay updated with industry best practices in debt recovery and ensure compliance with legal standards.
