Role Description The Cybersecurity Intern will support the security team in monitoring systems, reviewing logs, and helping identify potential security incidents across applications and networks. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with vulnerability assessments, documenting security findings, updating security-related documentation, and researching emerging threats and best practices. The intern will collaborate with team members on real-world cybersecurity projects, contribute to basic security configurations,



and help ensure adherence to security standards.

This is an internship role, based in office in Roorkee, offering hands-on exposure to cybersecurity tools, processes, and frameworks under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with an interest in threat detection, risk management, and security best practices.
- Understanding of Network Security concepts, including firewalls, secure protocols, and network monitoring.
- Basic awareness of Application Security principles, such as secure coding practices, common vulnerabilities, and application hardening.
- General familiarity with the broader Cyber domain, including security frameworks, standards, and compliance fundamentals.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Ability to learn quickly, follow structured processes, and document work clearly and accurately.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to security issues.
- Comfort working on-site in Roorkee and collaborating with diverse teams in a professional environment.
