Backdropsource designs and manufactures custom event backdrops, tension fabric displays, trade show media walls, and related exhibition products. We serve churches, trade show exhibitors, event planners, and corporate clients across the US, Canada, EU, Australia, Recent Zealand, and Japan.

Role Summary The Customer Referral Manager owns Backdropsource's customer referral program end to end: identifying satisfied U.S. customers, converting them into active referral sources, and systematizing the incentives, outreach, and tracking needed to turn word-of-mouth into a predictable, scalable pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a formal customer referral program for our customers, including incentive structures, referral tiers, and reward fulfillment
- Proactively identify high-satisfaction customers for the program
- Build and maintain personal relationships with key referring customers
- Create and refine referral request scripts, email sequences, and follow-up cadences
- Track referral activity end-to-end: source, status, conversion, and payout,



ensuring accurate attribution and timely reward payout
- Partner with the sales team to hand off qualified referred leads and ensure fast, high-quality follow-up
- Report on referral program KPIs (referrals generated, conversion rate, cost per acquisition, revenue attributed) and recommend program improvements
- Coordinate with Marketing on referral collateral (one-pagers, testimonial videos, case studies)

Qualifications

- 2+ years in customer success, account management, sales, or partnerships/referral marketing
- Demonstrated ability to build genuine, long-term relationships with customers and partners
- Comfortable owning a number — self-motivated, organized, and consistent with CRM hygiene and follow-up
- Excellent spoken and written English; prior experience on international calls (support, sales, or account management) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the trade show, events, church, or exhibition industry is a strong plus
