Job Summary for CT & MRI Technician

- Operate CT scan and MRI machines to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare, position, and explain imaging procedures to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Accurately follow radiologist instructions and established imaging protocols.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and MRI safety guidelines, including patient screening and contrast precautions.
- Check and ensure image quality; promptly report technical issues to senior staff or engineers.
- Perform equipment care, routine calibration checks, and basic troubleshooting tasks.
- Manage patient records, reports, and enter data accurately into Hospital Information Systems (HIS/RIS).




- Assist in performing contrast studies and handle emergency protocols as necessary.
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure cleanliness of the imaging area.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff and provide compassionate patient care.
- Required qualifications include a Diploma or BSc in Radiology/Medical Imaging Technology, knowledge of CT & MRI protocols, basic computer and documentation skills, valuable communication and patient-handling abilities, and willingness to work in rotational shifts.
