About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Engineer to join our Asia Pacific Division as a Loss Prevention Consultant based in Mumbai. This is a permanent full-time position designed for individuals eager to develop their careers in loss prevention engineering. As a Loss Prevention Consultant, you will play a vital role in assessing and mitigating risks associated with large commercial and industrial properties.

Your expertise will directly influence the safety and security of client assets, helping prevent potential disasters and ensuring business resilience.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge in real-world scenarios, working closely with clients, project teams, and site personnel. Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Working knowledge of construction practices, project execution, and assessment of flood, wind, and earthquake risks.
- 2–7 years of relevant work experience within large EPC organizations, project/construction management firms, or engineering roles supporting large industrial facilities, petrochemical plants,



or complex commercial projects.
- Field or site engineering experience, demonstrating hands-on involvement in project sites.
- Strong business acumen and project leadership skills, with proven ownership of deliverables and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently and engage directly with clients, project teams, and site personnel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly and effectively.
- Good analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges.
- Efficient time management skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven technical capability with diverse knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and related software tools.

Responsibilities As a Loss Prevention Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and mitigate risks associated with client properties. You will handle a variety of tasks, including conducting site visits, performing physical assessments, and developing engineering solutions tailored to each client’s needs. Your work will involve visiting client facilities, inspecting physical structures such as roofs, storage areas, and water supply systems, and identifying potential hazards related to dust, chemicals, or rack storage arrangements. You will follow FM Engineering Standards to ensure consistency and quality in your assessments. Communicating your findings effectively to clients is essential, as you will present recommendations and engineering solutions that promote safety and risk reduction. Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their operational challenges will be a key aspect of your role.

Initially, your assignments will be structured to facilitate your learning and development.



You will gradually take on more complex assessments involving larger commercial and industrial properties.

Your responsibilities include analyzing risk factors, recommending preventive measures, and supporting clients in implementing safety improvements. Your ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, prioritize tasks, and work independently will be critical to your success.
