Role Description The Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves preparing detailed technical and engineering drawings for industrial storage systems and office furniture using CAD software, following design specifications and standards. The CAD Drafter will collaborate with engineers, production teams, and sales staff to translate concepts into accurate drawings, update existing designs, and create layout plans for customer projects.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining drawing records, ensuring dimensional accuracy,



checking for compliance with safety and quality requirements, and supporting rapid customization requests. The role also includes assisting in design revisions, optimizing material usage, and contributing to continuous improvement in drafting and documentation processes.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and workflows, with the ability to produce precise 2D and 3D models.
- Skills in Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings, including understanding of tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to create and interpret Architectural Drawings and general Drawing layouts for industrial and commercial spaces.
- Attention to detail, strong spatial and analytical skills, and the ability to read and apply engineering and design specifications.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience in furniture, industrial storage, or related manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams in office.
- Capability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain organized design documentation.
