Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Delhi, India for a Compliance Manager – Management System Certification. The role involves overseeing and managing certification processes for clients’ management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant international standards and accreditation requirements.

The Compliance

Manager will review audit plans and reports, monitor adherence to internal procedures, and support auditors with guidance on certification rules and regulatory changes.

Responsibilities include conducting compliance checks,



managing corrective and preventive actions, maintaining documentation and records, and preparing reports for senior leadership and accreditation bodies. The role also requires close coordination with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and transparent certification decisions, while promoting continuous improvement in URS’s compliance and audit practices.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of management system standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or similar) and certification/accreditation requirements.
- Experience in compliance management, auditing, or quality assurance within a certification body, consulting firm, or related industry.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory, accreditation, and internal policy requirements in day-to-day certification activities.
- Proficiency in documentation, report writing, and record management, with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, management, or a related discipline; relevant professional certifications in auditing (e.g., Lead Auditor training) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an international or multi-site organization is beneficial, along with familiarity with UKAS or other accreditation frameworks.
