Job Summary To manage Finance & Accounts activities relating to NPA classification, provisioning, Expected Credit Loss (ECL), regulatory reporting, and financial controls, ensuring compliance with RBI guidelines and Ind AS requirements. This position is open with Bajaj Finance Ltd.

Duties and Responsibilities

- End-to-end handling of NPA classification and provisioning as per RBI guidelines and Ind AS / ECL requirements.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for NPA-related RBI and regulatory reporting.

- Work closely with the Risk team on loan-loss projections and ECL models.

- Provide NPA, ECL, and loan-loss related information for investor presentations and management reporting.

- Handle statutory and internal audit queries related to NPA and ECL.

- Verify credit guarantee scheme information and perform sanity checks.

- Ensure timely quarterly and annual regulatory disclosures related to ECL.

- Participate in Finance Department projects and support process and control improvements.

Key Decisions / Dimensions

- Review and validate NPA, provisioning, and ECL-related information.

- Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

- Provide analytical inputs on loan-loss projections and ECL.

- Recommend improvements in processes and financial controls.

- Accuracy of NPA classification, provisioning, ECL,



and related financial reporting.

- Impact on financial statements, regulatory disclosures, and investor reporting.

Major Challenges

- Ensuring accurate NPA classification and provisioning while maintaining compliance with RBI and Ind AS requirements.

- Managing ECL projections and coordinating with Risk and other stakeholders.

- Delivering accurate regulatory, audit, and management reports within strict timelines.

- Ensuring data accuracy and effective resolution of reporting and control-related issues.

Required Qualifications and Experience a) Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory b) Work Experience

- Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

- Experience in Finance & Accounts, financial reporting, provisioning, audit, or financial controls, preferably within financial services / lending.

c) Skills Keywords

- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, ECL, NPA classification, and RBI regulations.

- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel.

- Good understanding of financial controls and regulatory reporting.
