Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Claim Manager role based in Mumbai.

The Claim

Manager will oversee end-to-end handling of jewellery insurance claims, including initial intake, documentation review, verification, and coordination with insurers and clients.

Responsibilities include assessing claim validity, analyzing policy coverage, estimating losses in cooperation with relevant experts, and ensuring claims are processed in a timely and compliant manner. The role involves maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, communicating claim decisions,



and resolving issues or discrepancies to support fair outcomes for all parties.

The Claim

Manager will also contribute to process improvements, support risk management initiatives, and provide guidance to team members on complex claim scenarios.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Claims Handling and Claims Management, with experience managing end-to-end insurance claim processes.
- Candidates should possess solid Insurance and Insurance Claims knowledge, including policy interpretation, coverage assessment, and regulatory considerations.
- Candidates should possess well-developed Analytical Skills to evaluate documentation, assess risk and loss, and make data-informed decisions.
- Relevant experience in jewellery, property, or specialty insurance is beneficial, along with familiarity with valuation practices.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, law, or a related field is preferred, as well as strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site workplace are essential.
