We are now looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who can take ownership of the company's day-to-day operations and help turn our vision into consistent execution.

The Role

As the COO of College Circle AI, you will be responsible for making sure the company moves forward every day.

The CEO will work closely with you on strategy, priorities, major decisions, and company direction. Your responsibility will be to take those priorities and turn them into execution, coordination, accountability, and measurable progress.

You will work across almost every function of the company.

This is not a role where you simply manage one department.

What You'll Own

- Community ProgramYou will manage and grow our student and campus community initiatives.

This includes

- Managing the Community Program
- Coordinating campus and department ambassadors
- Creating community goals and KPIs
- Tracking student engagement
- Coordinating with colleges and student communities
- Building systems for onboarding and managing ambassadors
- Collecting student feedback
- Turning community activity into measurable growth
- Ensuring the community team consistently executes

- AI Operations

You will help coordinate the operational side of our AI initiatives and ensure that AI-related projects move from ideas into execution.

This includes

- Coordinating AI-related projects and workflows
- Tracking ongoing AI initiatives
- Working with technical and research teams
- Maintaining operational processes
- Identifying bottlenecks
- Ensuring projects have clear owners and timelines
- Supporting the implementation of AI into business and product operations

You don't necessarily need to be the person writing the AI systems. You need to be the person who makes sure the right people are working on the right problems and that the work actually moves forward.

- Hiring & People Operations





You will take ownership of the operational side of hiring and team growth.

This includes

- Identifying hiring requirements with the CEO and department leads
- Managing recruitment pipelines
- Coordinating interviews
- Tracking candidates
- Supporting onboarding
- Understanding team capacity and gaps
- Coordinating Fellows, Co-Builders, interns, ambassadors, and other contributors
- Establishing clear responsibilities and expectations
- Tracking performance and deliverables
- Ensuring people have what they need to execute

You will work closely with People & Culture while taking operational ownership of making sure the team continues to grow in the right direction.

- Company Growth The COO will play an important role in turning company goals into measurable growth.

Working With the CEO The CEO will work closely with the COO.

The CEO will focus heavily on company vision, strategic direction, fundraising, major partnerships, product direction, and high-level decisions.

The COO will help convert that direction into execution across the organisation.

College Circle AI operates as a remote-first company, so strong communication, coordination, documentation, and accountability are essential.

You should be comfortable working with distributed teams and coordinating people across different schedules.
