Role Description The Chief Compliance Officer is a full-time, in office role based in Coimbatore. This position is responsible for leading the overall compliance framework, ensuring adherence to NBFC regulations, internal policies, and industry standards. Daily responsibilities include monitoring regulatory updates, assessing compliance risks, developing and updating policies and procedures, and overseeing implementation across business units.

The role coordinates with senior management, operations, risk, finance,



and technology teams to embed compliance into products, processes, and customer-facing activities.

The Chief Compliance

Officer also conducts compliance audits, manages regulatory reporting, oversees staff training on compliance and ethics, and supports governance initiatives that promote a culture of integrity and accountability.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance, particularly within NBFCs or financial services.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret regulations, assess risk, and design effective controls.
- Excellent Communication abilities for clear policy documentation, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory liaison.
- Solid understanding of Finance, including lending products, debentures, and risk-related metrics.
- Proven experience in leadership roles within compliance, risk, or governance functions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field; professional certifications in compliance or risk (e.g., CCO, CRCMP) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated knowledge of RBI and NBFC guidelines, KYC/AML requirements, data privacy norms, and corporate governance best practices.
- Ability to build and maintain a strong compliance culture, mentor teams, and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders.
