Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant (Junior) role based in Mumbai. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, journal entries, reconciliations, and maintenance of financial records in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

The Chartered

Accountant will assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, variance analyses, and reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

Responsibilities include supporting statutory audits, tax filings, GST and TDS compliance, and coordinating with auditors and external consultants. The role also includes contributing to cost analysis, financial controls,



and documentation aligned with Nexfore Consulting’s safety, licensing, and compliance-focused services.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting and finance skills, including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Candidates should possess skills in taxation and compliance, such as knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, GST, TDS, and statutory audit support.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial analysis and controls, including variance analysis, cost monitoring, and internal control implementation.
- Candidates should possess skills in documentation and regulatory adherence, including preparation of reports, maintenance of records, and support for licensing and certification requirements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, along with strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Chartered Accountant qualification (CA, freshly qualified or with up to a few years of experience); experience in consulting, audit, or compliance-focused roles is an advantage.
- Ability to work in office in Mumbai, manage multiple assignments, and adhere to deadlines in a structured, process-driven environment.
