Our assignments involve working closely with clients across diverse industries and handling matters relating to Direct Tax, International Tax, GST, Assurance, Corporate Law and FEMA/RBI compliances. The role provides significant exposure to client interaction, complex transactions and practical tax and regulatory matters.
Role – Chartered AccountantWe are looking for a Chartered Accountant (Fresher to 2 years of post-qualification experience) to join our Noida office.
The role is particularly suited for a CA looking to build robust practical exposure across Direct Taxation, International Taxation, GST, Assurance and Regulatory Compliances while working with Indian and multinational clients.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position, as the role will involve regular interaction with clients and preparation of professional emails, submissions, opinions and advisory notes.
Key Responsibilities1. Direct & International TaxationThe candidate will be involved in compliance as well as advisory assignments, including:
- Preparation and filing of Corporate Income-tax Returns
- Income-tax compliances for foreign companies operating or earning income in India
- Transfer Pricing compliances and related documentation
- Form 15CA/15CB and other foreign remittance-related tax compliances
- Analysis of withholding tax implications on domestic and cross-border transactions
- TDS compliances, returns and reconciliations
- Tax Due Diligence assignments
- Assistance in International Tax and cross-border taxation matters
- Research and preparation of tax opinions/advisory notes
- Assistance in income-tax assessments, notices and other proceedings
- Tax audits and other income-tax certifications/compliances

Indirect Taxation – GSTThe candidate will handle GST compliance and advisory assignments for clients having operations across multiple states and jurisdictions, including:
- GST return compliances and reconciliations
- GST registrations, amendments and cancellations
- GST refund applications and related proceedings
- GST audits/reviews and health checks
- Assistance in GST assessments, notices and departmental proceedings
- Research and preparation of GST opinions and advisory notes
- Annual GST compliances and reconciliations
- Analysis and reconciliation of large transactional datasets
Strong Excel and data-handling capabilities are essential. Several of our assignments involve large organisations with high transaction volumes and datasets running into several hundred thousand records. The candidate should therefore be comfortable analysing, reconciling and reviewing large datasets efficiently and accurately.
- AssuranceThe candidate will also obtain exposure to assurance assignments, including:
- Statutory Audits under the Companies Act
- Audit procedures and substantive testing
- CARO-related audit procedures and testing
- Internal Financial Controls (IFC/ICFR) testing and documentation
- Internal Audit assignments
- Review of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Preparation/review of audit working papers and documentation
4. Corporate / ROC CompliancesThe role will include assistance in various Companies Act and ROC matters, including:
- Incorporation and registration of companies
- Changes in directors, shareholders and other corporate particulars
- Changes in capital structure and other corporate actions
- Preparation and filing of various ROC forms
- Maintenance of statutory registers and corporate records
- Annual ROC compliances
- Preparation and filing of annual returns and financial statements
- XBRL filings, wherever applicable
- Other event-based Companies Act compliances
5. FEMA / RBI CompliancesThe candidate will assist in FEMA and RBI-related matters, primarily including:
- Annual FLA Return
- Form FC-GPR
- Form FC-TRS
- Foreign investment-related reporting and compliances
- Other routine FEMA/RBI filings and regulatory matters
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Fresher to 2 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong preference for candidates having practical exposure to Direct Tax, International Tax and/or GST
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – this is a key requirement for the role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Very good command over Microsoft Excel, including handling and reconciliation of large datasets
- Ability to undertake tax/regulatory research and independently understand technical issues
- Comfortable interacting directly with clients, including multinational clients and senior client personnel
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work across different areas of taxation and regulatory compliance
- Good working knowledge of accounting, tax and compliance software
- Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems would be an added advantage
- Prior experience in a CA firm, consulting firm or professional services environment would be preferred for experienced candidates
