Business Analyst – Insurance / SQL

Location: Hyderabad, Trivandrum & Pune

Years of Experience: 8 Years (Immediate Joiners)

Shift: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST

Primary Skills – You should apply if you have:

- Solid understanding of Business Analysis concepts, methods, and practices in an Information Technology environment.
- General and London Market Insurance domain experience.
- Experience in defining data lineage from source systems to an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Solid oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence others to improve processes and application quality.

Secondary Skills:

- Greenfield Data Warehouse build experience is highly desirable.
- Some experience using JIRA or similar Agile tools.
- Solid understanding of SQL and the ability to use SQL tools to query databases and retrieve data.

Detailed

As per the latest confirmation from the customer, London Market Insurance experience is optional / nice to have,



but candidates must have a strong Insurance Business Analyst and SQL background.

Skills Lacking in Candidates Interviewed

- Intermediate SQL skills are required for hands-on data analysis and query development.
- Sufficient Business Analyst experience to independently manage BA responsibilities.
- A balanced combination of technical and functional Business Analyst capabilities.

Skills Needed for the Role

- Intermediate to strong SQL proficiency.
- Solid Business Analyst experience, including:
- Requirements gathering
- Requirements analysis
- Documentation
- Stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong Techno-Functional BA skill set, combining technical expertise in SQL/data analysis with strong Business Analysis capabilities.
