Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to own MIS, reporting and process governance across the organisation. Beyond running day-to-day dashboards and reports, this role is responsible for mapping and standardising critical processes across Sales, Pre-Sales, Operations, Finance, Product, Marketing and Customer Service; building a single source of truth for core business definitions and data; and driving the shift from manually prepared MIS to automated, SLA-governed reporting that surfaces real business insight rather than just numbers.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

Process Mapping & Governance

- Map end-to-end processes across Sales, Pre-Sales, Operations, Finance, Product, Marketing, Customer Service and other functions, with a defined process owner and turnaround time (TAT) for each.
- Conduct monthly gap reviews to identify process breaks, ownership gaps and inefficiencies, and drive closure withstakeholders.

SOP Development & Standardisation

- Create, standardise and maintain SOPs for all priority workflows, with version control on every document.
- Track and improve SOP compliance across departments, and update SOPs as processes evolve.

Data Flow Alignment & Single Source of Truth

- Define how information should move between departments and systems, mapping every critical data field to a clear source and owner.
- Progressively reduce duplicate manual data entry by identifying and eliminating redundant capture points.
- Establish and document standard, organisation-wide definitions for key metrics such as Booking Value, Margin, Cost, Collection, Conversion and Cancellation, keeping reconciliation variance between departmental reports below 2%.

Departmental MIS, Dashboards & Cross-Department Reporting

- Create, maintain and optimise dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau, and establish micro (departmental)



and macro (management) level reporting for every function.
- Generate daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports for management review, ensuring reports are delivered within agreed TAT and meet an accuracy benchmark of ≥95%.
- Connect data end-to-end across Sales → Booking → Operations → Finance → Customer/Trip, ensuring ≥98% booking traceability, and track and resolve interdepartmental mismatches.
- Manage CRM data, reporting accuracy and performance tracking; ensure data integrity, consistency and accuracy across all reporting systems.

Reporting Automation

- Automate recurring reports and workflows using Advanced Excel, Google Apps Script and BI tools, replacing manually prepared MIS with system-driven dashboards.
- Work towards automating at least 80% of recurring reports within 6 months and reducing manual reporting effort by ≥70%.

Data Quality, Audit &; SLA Monitoring

- Run regular audits to detect missing, duplicate, incorrect and inconsistent records; publish a weekly exception report, targeting ≥98% mandatory-field completeness and <2% duplicate/error rate.
- Define and track SLAs/TATs for critical processes, build automated exception monitoring and reporting, and drive ≥90% ,SLA adherence,Business Insights.
- Move beyond reporting numbers to proactively identify business problems, risks and opportunities across functions.
- Deliver a minimum of 3–5 actionable insights per month, quantifying revenue, margin, productivity or process impact wherever possible.

Stakeholder Collaboration





- Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Operations, Finance, Product, Marketing and Customer Service teams to understand reporting requirements, align on process ownership, and drive adoption of SOPs, dashboards and standard definitions.

Skills &; Qualifications Required

- Graduate or Postgraduate in Business Analytics, Computer Applications, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in MIS, Business Analysis, Process Governance, CRM Reporting, Business Analytics, or related functions.
- Strong proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Dashboards, and Data Analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Knowledge of Google Apps Script / Google Scripting for report automation.
- Basic understanding of HTML and web-based reporting structures.
- Experience working with CRM systems and reporting tools.
- Exposure to process mapping, SOP documentation, or process governance (flowcharting tools such as Visio/Lucidchart) is an advantage.
- Ability to define and align cross-functional data definitions and metrics with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Keen eye for detail with a high level of accuracy in reporting and documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
