Role Description This is a remote volunteer role for a Business Analyst at Outcome School.

The Business

Analyst will work closely with program, operations, and leadership teams to analyze program performance, learner outcomes, and workforce alignment. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping and improving business processes, and identifying opportunities to strengthen hiring pathways and employer partnerships. The role also involves preparing reports and dashboards, translating data into actionable insights,



and supporting strategic decisions related to program design and scalability.

The Business

Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and help ensure that Outcome School’s programs remain practical, outcome-driven, and accessible.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret data to support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess Business Analysis skills, including requirements gathering and stakeholder needs assessment.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings.
- Candidates should possess experience with Business Process understanding, mapping, and improvement.
- Candidates should possess the ability to define and manage Business Requirements for projects and initiatives.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, BI tools) and basic research methods is beneficial.
- Experience in education, workforce development, or nonprofit environments is a plus.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and supporting underserved and minority youth in accessing tech careers is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Economics, Data, Technology, or a related field is helpful but not strictly required.
