About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team at TCS. In this role, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end Oracle CPQ Cloud implementation and transformation projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with client business requirements. You will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore delivery units, translating complex business needs into functional specifications and actionable deliverables.

Your expertise will help optimize Quote-to-Cash processes, streamline product configuration, pricing, and approval workflows, and enhance overall sales efficiency. Qualifications

- Years of IT/business consulting experience, including 2 or more successful Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) implementation or transformation projects.
- Strong functional understanding of Oracle CPQ Cloud capabilities across product configuration, pricing, discounting, quoting, approvals, document generation, renewals, amendments, and order handoff processes.
- Proven experience acting as the functional liaison between business stakeholders, sales operations, product/pricing teams, IT teams, and offshore delivery teams to translate business needs into clear CPQ requirements.
- Excellent skills in leading requirements workshops, discovery sessions, fit-gap analysis, process walkthroughs,



and conference room pilots for Oracle CPQ and Quote-to-Cash transformation initiatives.
- Ability to document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices aligned with Oracle CPQ capabilities.
- Experience analyzing current and future Quote-to-Cash processes, including lead-to-quote, quote-to-order, pricing governance, approval workflows, asset-based ordering, renewals, amendments, and contract-related flows.
- Knowledge of CPQ product model design, configuration rules, pricing rules, quote layouts, approval processes, document outputs, and user experience from a business process perspective.
- Strong collaboration skills to work closely with technical leads and developers, ensuring configurations and customizations meet business requirements and functional designs.
- Experience supporting integration discussions with Salesforce, Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle Fusion, ERP, CRM, and other downstream systems, defining data flows and validation rules.
- Proficiency in facilitating business reviews, sign-offs, solution walkthroughs, test scenarios, and key CPQ deliverables.
- Good understanding of amendment, renewal, and perpetual to term conversion processes.
- Experience in preparing and supporting SIT, UAT, regression testing, and business validation, including defining test scenarios and reviewing test scripts.
- Ability to support user training, super-user enablement, SOP documentation, adoption readiness, and post-go-live support.
- Strong analytical skills to assess change requests, impact analysis, effort estimation, and release planning.
- Excellent coordination skills to manage onshore and offshore teams, ensuring timely resolution of clarifications and open items.
- Effective presentation and communication skills for delivering demonstrations, process walkthroughs,



and solution validation sessions to stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities The Oracle CPQ Cloud Functional Consultant will be responsible for leading the functional design and implementation of Oracle CPQ solutions tailored to client needs. Key responsibilities include conducting requirements gathering sessions, analyzing current Quote-to-Cash processes, and designing future-state workflows that improve efficiency and accuracy. The role involves documenting detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.

You will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring the solutions meet the desired outcomes. Leading fit-gap analysis, process walkthroughs, and conference room pilots will be part of your core duties to validate solutions before deployment. You will also support the integration of Oracle CPQ with other enterprise systems such as Salesforce, ERP, and CRM platforms, defining data flows and validation rules to ensure seamless operations.

During the testing phases, you will prepare and support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing, reviewing test scripts, supporting defect triage, and ensuring traceability to requirements. Post-implementation, you will assist in user training, super-user enablement, and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Your role extends to analyzing change requests, assessing their impact, and supporting prioritization for release planning.

Effective communication and coordination are vital, as you will manage deliverables across onshore and offshore teams, ensuring timely closure of clarifications and open issues. You will also be responsible for preparing and delivering client-facing demonstrations, process walkthroughs, and solution validation sessions, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and project success.
