Role Description The Branch Head role at Kotak Life is a full-time position based in Mumbai with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility.

The Branch

Head is responsible for overseeing branch operations, driving sales targets, and ensuring high-quality customer service. Daily activities include managing and mentoring the branch team, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing strategies to increase business growth and profitability. The role involves coordinating with regional and corporate teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company policies, and resolving escalated customer issues.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in branch management, sales leadership, or similar roles within financial services or insurance.
- Strong skills in people management, team coaching, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to analyze sales data, prepare reports, and develop actionable strategies for growth and efficiency.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer relationship skills.
- Understanding of life insurance products, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
- Comfort with hybrid work models, digital tools, and CRM or sales management systems.
