Role Description The Blender Designer will work closely with the design and engineering teams to create high-quality 3D models, animations, and visual assets that support product development and marketing initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include modeling components and assemblies in Blender, creating motion graphics and animated sequences to explain product features, preparing storyboards and visual concepts, and refining assets based on feedback from engineers and stakeholders.



The role also involves collaborating on motion capture workflows, ensuring visual consistency across projects, and optimizing files for use in simulations, presentations, and promotional materials.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Chennai, where regular on-site collaboration is expected, combined with some flexibility to work from home as project needs allow.

Qualifications

- Strong animation skills, including experience creating 3D animations and motion graphics in Blender.
- Ability to develop clear storyboards and visual narratives to communicate product functions and design intent.
- Experience with motion capture workflows and integrating captured data into Blender-based animations.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting visual concepts.
- Proficiency in Blender and familiarity with related tools for modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
- Understanding of basic product design principles and interest in hardware or manufacturing-focused projects.
- Attention to detail, solid visual sense, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Animation, Design, Multimedia, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
