Role Description This is a full-time, in office Billing Head role based at Medicover Hospitals in Nashik.

The Billing

Head oversees the end-to-end hospital billing process, ensuring accurate and timely generation of patient bills, insurance claims, and corporate accounts.

Responsibilities include monitoring daily billing operations, validating financial data, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with clinical, finance, and front-office teams to maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves analyzing billing performance, implementing process improvements to reduce errors and revenue leakage,



and preparing periodic billing reports for leadership.

The Billing

Head also leads and mentors the billing team, sets performance standards, and supports audits and system enhancements to strengthen revenue cycle management.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting and finance foundation, including experience with Accounting and Finance in a healthcare or services environment.
- Proficiency in handling Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with the ability to interpret and present billing-related financial data.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to review billing trends, identify issues, and optimize revenue cycle processes.
- Experience with hospital billing systems, insurance and TPA processes, and regulatory guidelines related to healthcare billing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) is an advantage.
- Proven leadership experience managing billing or revenue cycle teams, with strong people management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Nashik, handle high-volume operations, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary hospital teams.
