Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Backend Developer Intern (Golang). The intern will help design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for eCommerce platforms using Go, following clean architecture and secure coding practices. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new features, fixing bugs, writing unit and integration tests, and collaborating with senior engineers on code reviews and technical design.

The role involves working closely with front-end developers and product teams to integrate backend services, optimize performance,



and ensure reliability and scalability. The intern will also assist with documentation, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a cloud-based environment.

Qualifications

- Foundational skills in Programming and Software Development, with a solid interest in building backend services in Go.
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development concepts, including RESTful APIs, microservices, databases, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and clean, maintainable code practices.
- Basic familiarity with Front-End Development and how backend services integrate with web and mobile clients.
- Good grasp of data structures, algorithms, and concurrency concepts relevant to backend systems.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Interest in eCommerce technology, performance, security, and scalable architectures.
