Role Description The Backend Developer will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that power SaathApp’s platform. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bihar Sharif. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing scalable and secure backend logic, integrating databases, optimizing performance, and ensuring high availability and reliability of services.

The Backend

Developer will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to refine requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver new features. The role also involves writing clean, well-documented code, participating in code reviews,



and contributing to continuous improvement of the development process.

Qualifications

- Robust programming skills in one or more backend languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or similar) and experience building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and skills in schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Understanding of server-side architecture, microservices, and principles of scalability, security, and performance optimization.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or hosting environments and basic DevOps practices (deployment, monitoring, logging) is beneficial.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, with attention to documentation and code review best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
