Job Summary: Azure Platform Engineer

- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Azure infrastructure and workloads.
- Ensure security, performance, reliability, and scalability of Azure applications and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with developers to implement CI/CD and DevOps methodologies on Azure.
- Define, document, and promote best practices for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
- Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to team members on Azure technologies.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for Azure environments.
- Assist with cost management strategies for Azure usage.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.




- Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Azure Kubernetes.
- Use DevOps and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Git Actions, Sonar, CodeQL).
- Employ monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and Recent Relic.
- Manage and secure Azure resources using Azure Security Centre, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Key Vault.
- Conduct vulnerability scans, security assessments, and remediation.
- Ensure secure coding practices and regulatory compliance for Azure infrastructure.
- (Preferred) Script automation using YAML, JSON, PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- (Preferred) Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
