Job Title: Azure Arc and Linux VM Patching Sr. Administrator

Location: Preferred Delhi NCR , Pan India

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Azure Arc Linux VM Administrator to manage and update Azure Arc-related incidents, problems, and changes for on-premises Linux servers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing patch management, ensuring the security and performance of the servers, and minimizing downtime through effective planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

· Update and manage Azure Arc-related incidents, problems, and changes for on-premises Linux servers.

· Be an integral part of larger Azure Cloud Operations team and manage Azure platform administration

· Perform patch management for Linux VMs on-premises using Azure Arc/Azure Update Manager, including:

o Regularly reviewing available patches and updates from Microsoft.





o Prioritizing patches based on severity and impact on the environment.

o Planning patching windows and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

o Scheduling patch deployments and configuring maintenance windows.

o Installing critical and security patches promptly.

o Testing non-security patches in a controlled environment before deployment.

o Applying updates to address vulnerabilities and improve performance.

Qualifications

· Proven experience in managing Azure Arc , Azure update Manager and Linux VM environments.

· Robust understanding of patch management processes and best practices.

· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
