Role Description The Assistant Professor role at SGT University is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram.

The Assistant

Professor will deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions, design and update course content, and assess student performance through assignments, examinations, and projects. The role includes guiding student research, mentoring learners in academic and professional development,



and contributing to departmental and university-level academic activities.

Qualifications

- Relevant postgraduate degree (minimum Master’s; PhD preferred) in the appropriate discipline from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated teaching aptitude, including lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
- Experience or strong potential in academic research, including publications, conference participation, or scholarly projects.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learners.
- Competence in using educational technologies, learning management systems, and digital tools for teaching and evaluation.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, student mentoring, inclusive pedagogy, and continuous career development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, contribute to departmental initiatives, and support co-curricular and outreach activities.
- Prior university-level teaching or clinical/industry experience related to the discipline is an advantage.
