Assistant Manager - Talent Acquisition (Field Sales Hiring)

Location: Thane, Mumbai

Function: Human Resources - Talent Acquisition

Reporting To: Lead - Talent Acqusition and Commercial HRBP

Role Type: Individual Contributor

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and high-energy Talent Acquisition professional to join our growing team during an exciting phase of business expansion. This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end hiring for frontline and middle-management sales positions across India and building a robust talent pipeline to support the organization's aggressive growth plans.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced workplace, has experience managing high-volume recruitment, understands the dynamics of field sales hiring, and leverages technology, analytics, and cutting-edge sourcing strategies to improve hiring quality, candidate experience, and recruitment efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Drive End-to-End Sales Hiring

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for frontline and middle-management sales roles across India.
- Partner closely with Sales Leaders and HR Business Partners to understand workforce requirements, territory plans, and hiring priorities.
- Deliver hiring targets within agreed timelines while maintaining high quality standards.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales talent across key markets.

Manage High-Volume Recruitment
- Drive large-scale hiring campaigns to support rapid business growth.
- Develop proactive sourcing channels to ensure a continuous supply of quality candidates.
- Execute hiring drives, walk-ins, referral campaigns, and market-mapping initiatives.
- Ensure effective demand forecasting and talent pipeline readiness for critical positions.

Talent Sourcing & Market Intelligence
- Source talent through multiple channels including job portals, social media, employee referrals, recruitment partners, networking, and direct market mapping.




- Conduct competitor talent mapping and develop candidate pools across regions.
- Track market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability to support hiring decisions.

Improve Hiring Quality

- Conduct structured candidate assessments and competency-based interviews.
- Partner with hiring managers to improve selection effectiveness and decision quality.
- Utilize success profiles and data-driven hiring practices to improve quality of hire.
- Monitor early attrition, new hire performance, and hiring outcomes to continuously enhance recruitment effectiveness.

Enhance Candidate Experience

- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate journey throughout the recruitment process.
- Drive timely communication, interview scheduling, feedback sharing, and offer management.
- Build a strong employer brand experience for prospective candidates.

Leverage Recruitment Technology

- Effectively utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment analytics tools, sourcing platforms, and digital hiring solutions.
- Explore AI-enabled sourcing, screening, and recruitment automation tools to improve productivity and hiring outcomes.
- Drive technology adoption to improve recruiter efficiency, candidate experience, and process consistency.

Recruitment Analytics & Process Excellence
- Track and report key recruitment metrics and hiring dashboards.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance speed, quality, and stakeholder experience.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment processes, policies, and documentation requirements.




- Continuously improve recruitment effectiveness through data-driven insights and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources preferred.

Experience

- 5-8 years of Talent Acquisition experience.
- Proven experience in high-volume hiring environments.
- Strong experience hiring frontline and middle-management sales talent across multiple geographies.
- Exposure to Pan-India hiring is essential.
- Experience in industries such as FMCG, Consumer Durables, Building Materials, Electricals, Paints, Pipes, Sanitaryware, Telecom, Retail, or similar sectors will be preferred.
- Experience using ATS platforms, recruitment technologies, analytics tools, and digital hiring solutions.
