Hiring: Assistant Manager – Production Planning & Control (PPC)

About Us: Operating a 20,000 sq. m. manufacturing facility in Ratnagiri, MKA delivers end-to-end precision machining, fabrication, and assembly solutions for global clients.

Role Overview: We are hiring an Assistant Manager – PPC who can plan and schedule production while also supporting design review and cost/price estimation for new components and RFQs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop production schedules based on sales orders, machine capacity, and material availability

Monitor daily/weekly production against plan; identify and resolve bottlenecks

Review customer drawings/CAD models to assess manufacturability, tooling, and process requirements

Prepare cost and price estimates for new RFQs, covering material, machining time, tooling, and overheads

Coordinate with purchase, stores, quality, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth material flow

Maintain capacity utilization reports, WIP tracking, and on-time delivery metrics





Drive process improvements to reduce lead time and manufacturing costs

Prepare MIS/dashboards for management review on production KPIs and quotation status

Requirements

B.E./Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering

5-8 years' experience in PPC within machining, casting, forging, or fabrication manufacturing

Working knowledge of design/drawing interpretation (2D/3D CAD such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and manufacturability review

Proven experience in cost estimation/costing and price quotation for machined, cast, forged, or fabricated components

Solid knowledge of capacity planning, scheduling tools, and ERP systems

Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel/Smartsheet for tracking, costing, and reporting

Ability to work on-site at the Ratnagiri manufacturing unit
