Role Description The Assistant Manager Finance Account will oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including ledger maintenance, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. This full-time, on-site role based in Jamshedpur involves preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations. The role includes coordination with internal teams for accurate billing, revenue tracking, and cost management, as well as interaction with customers and vendors to resolve account-related queries.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Finance skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Candidates should possess solid Account Management skills, including handling accounts payable/receivable and maintaining accurate ledgers.
- Candidates should possess effective Customer Service skills to manage client and vendor queries related to financial transactions.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related understanding to support revenue recognition, pricing discussions, and commercial terms.
- Candidates should possess Team Management skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide junior staff.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
- Solid analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional local language skills are beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, MBA Finance) are a plus.
- Relevant experience in finance and accounts, preferably within transportation, logistics, or related industries.
