Job purpose:
The Software Engineer – Backend is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure backend services for the Geidea Store platform.
The role contributes to the development of services supporting device management, application lifecycle management, software distribution, device telemetry, remote connectivity, authentication, and other platform capabilities.
The position works closely with Android, Frontend, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, Product,



and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions capable of supporting large-scale production environments.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and maintain microservices following established architecture, coding, security, and design standards.
Design productive data models and implement reliable
communication using databases, Kafka, MQTT, and other messaging technologies.
Implement secure authentication, authorization, API security, and application-level controls while ensuring service reliability.
Analyze application performance, troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
Collaborate with Android, Frontend, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Product teams to deliver end-to-end platform capabilities.
