Position: Area Sales Manager – Aquaculture Healthcare Products

Location: Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh

Experience: 7–10 years in Aquaculture / Agri-inputs / Animal Health / related industries

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to lead sales and market development activities in and around Kakinada. The candidate should have strong knowledge of the local aquaculture market, established relationships with aqua distributors and retailers, and proven experience in managing sales teams and high-value customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage key distributors, retailers and key farmers.
- Drive sales and market expansion of aquaculture healthcare products.
- Plan and execute product promotions, farmer meetings and market activities.
- Achieve sales targets for Kakinada and surrounding markets.
- Lead and develop a team of 3–5 Sales Officers / Senior Sales Officers.
- Expand the distribution and retail network and identify new business opportunities.
- Track market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
- Ensure effective customer service, issue resolution and collections.
- Review team performance and provide regular sales and market reports.





Desired Profile
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in Aquaculture, Agri-inputs, Animal Health, Fisheries or related industries.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aquaculture / Fisheries / Agriculture / Science, or any relevant degree with strong industry experience.
- Strong Kakinada market knowledge with an established network among aqua trade partners.
- Experience in handling large distributors and high-value customers.
- Strong leadership, negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Valuable understanding of aquaculture products and industry dynamics.
- Telugu communication is essential; English proficiency preferred.
- Willingness to travel across the assigned territory.
