Role Description The Area Manager role at UPICON is a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing consulting operations and client engagements within an assigned geographic area.

The Area

Manager coordinates socio-economic and industrial surveys, ensures timely execution of project evaluations, and supervises the preparation of project reports and market assessments. This role involves managing client relationships, guiding teams on technology transfer and revival initiatives, and monitoring the performance and quality of consultancy services.

Manager collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support infrastructure and area development studies, while maintaining compliance with relevant regulatory and organizational standards. The position requires proactive planning, regular reporting, and effective communication to achieve project objectives and regional business goals.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in project management, regional operations oversight, and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience in socio-economic and industrial surveys, scheme evaluation, and market demand assessment.
- Ability to lead teams, manage remote work environments, and ensure quality delivery of consulting services.
- Knowledge of industrial development, infrastructure planning, and organizational/management studies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with attention to detail.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with client-facing experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Management, Economics, Engineering, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Prior experience in consultancy, government projects, or industrial development assignments is preferred.
- Comfort with digital tools, data analysis software, and remote collaboration platforms.
