Job Summary

We are seeking talented and motivated individuals for the role of Associate, Backend Engineer. Successful candidates will be experienced programmers who can work as a senior developer, develop user stories, write test cases, debug code, design, and develop solutions in an workplace with constant collaborative discussions. An ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an agile environment who can design, code, deploy and participate in the release deployment cycle and work with multiple squads or hives to deliver complex features, epics and releases.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum experience of 7+ years in IT industry with at least 5 years of relevant experience
Proficient in RESTful API, SpringBoot 3.x, SpringBatch
Should have knowledge on Relational or No-SQL Databases
Should be able to come up with Technical Solution diagrams and Architecture for initiatives.
Preferred to have knowledge on API Gateways, API security, OAuth 2, OIDC etc.
Should be proficient in analyzing logs using ELK/Logstash/Kibana




Should be independently able to manage CICD tasks using Azure ADO, Maven & Helm Charts
Experienced in Container Infrastructure such as Kubernetes, OCP or AWS EKS.
Experienced working in an Agile environment with globally distributed teams.

Strategy

Be a hands on senior developer who can work independently based on the technical design document and business requirement.
Responsible for the quality of the code repository wherever applicable.
Acts as a conduit for the wider domain strategy, for example technical standards.
Act as a custodian for Java backend expertise.

Business

Experienced practitioner and hands on contribution to the squad delivery for their craft (Eg. Engineering).
Responsible to evolve the craft towards improving automation, simplification and innovative use of latest market trends.
Collaborate with product owners and other tech leads to ensure applications meet functional requirements and strategic objectives
