Role Description The Area Business Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Visakhapatnam. This position is responsible for driving business growth within the assigned territory by managing key customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and industrial clients. Daily responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, conducting market visits, monitoring competitor activities, and preparing regular sales and performance reports.

The role also involves coordinating with internal teams for order fulfillment, pricing, and customer support, as well as organizing local promotional activities.





The Area Business

Manager is expected to ensure consistent revenue growth, maintain high service standards, and uphold company policies and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong territory management, business development, and sales planning abilities within industrial or B2B markets.
- Proficiency in client relationship management, negotiation, and communication, with the ability to present solutions clearly.
- Capability to analyze market trends, prepare reports, and use basic business analytics tools for decision-making.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams such as operations, logistics, and finance to support customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Previous experience in mining, metals, or related industrial sectors is preferred, especially in a field or area management role.
- Comfort working on-site and traveling within the region; strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
