Summary

As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a energetic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve software-related challenges, ensuring the smooth operation of essential applications and systems. You will engage in problem-solving activities, analyze system performance, and contribute to the overall efficiency of business processes, all while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality support to users and stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and customize PTC Windchill modules based on business requirements.

Implement workflows, UI customizations,



and Info*Engine tasks for system enhancements.

Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Troubleshoot and resolve application, performance, and integration issues effectively.

Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.

Knowledge of ESI, ODATA, REST, Interfaces, and Integrations is a plus.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of PTC Windchill customization and configuration.
- Proficient in Java, JSP, Windchill APIs (JCA, OOTB services) for custom development.
- Experience with Workflows, Lifecycle templates, and Access Control policies.
- Familiar with SQL/Oracle DB concepts, Info*Engine tasks, and basic integrations.
- Understanding of Agile methodology and version control tools (Git/SVN).

Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 6 years of experience in PTC Windchill.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
