Job Summary

We are looking for experienced API Automation Testing professionals with solid expertise in Banking domain applications and hands-on experience in automation frameworks using Python or Java. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in API testing, automation scripting, and modern automation tools such as Cypress and Playwright.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks and test scripts.

- Perform API testing for RESTful and Microservices-based applications.

- Validate API requests/responses, status codes, schemas, and data integrity.

- Develop automated test suites using Python or Java.

- Work with Cypress and Playwright for UI/API automation testing.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and test scenarios.

- Execute database validations using SQL queries.

- Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines.

- Identify, track, and report defects with detailed analysis.

- Ensure test coverage, maintain automation reports, and improve framework efficiency.

Required Skills





- Solid experience in API Automation Testing.

- Hands-on experience with Python or Java automation scripting.

- Expertise in Cypress and Playwright automation tools.

- Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols.

- Experience with automation frameworks and testing tools.

- Solid SQL and database testing knowledge.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

- Knowledge of Microservices architecture testing.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

- Banking or Financial Services domain experience is mandatory.

- Experience with Postman, Rest Assured, Karate DSL, or Swagger.

- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes is an added advantage.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS/Azure.

- Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
