We are looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for working with large-scale datasets, developing analytical solutions, identifying trends and insights, and building dashboards and reporting solutions that help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with RDBMS, NoSQL databases, analytical data stores, data processing technologies, and visualization/reporting tools, along with the ability to quickly learn and deploy new analytics technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain analytical datasets, reports, dashboards, and data products.
- Work with RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and analytical data stores to extract, transform, validate, and analyse data.
- Develop productive data queries and data-processing solutions for analytical and reporting requirements.
- Work closely with data engineers, developers, architects, business teams, and project stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
- Develop dashboards and reports that make raw data meaningful and useful for enterprise decision-making.
- Support data quality checks, data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting of data-related issues.
- Identify opportunities for improving data pipelines, analytical processes, reporting performance, and data usability.
- Work with large-scale datasets and optimise queries and analytical workloads for performance.
- Evaluate, learn, and implement new reporting,



analytics, and data-processing tools as required.
- Contribute to documentation of data models, reports, dashboards, analytical processes, and technical solutions.
- Support ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requirements from project stakeholders.
- Can lead a team of analytics team members when needed.

Required Technical Skills Databases & Data Stores

- Solid experience working with RDBMS, NoSQL, and analytical databases/data stores.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of:
- MySQL
- Cassandra
- Postgress
- MongoDB
- Druid

- Good understanding of data modelling, querying, aggregation, indexing, and performance optimisation.

Programming & Data Processing

- Strong hands-on knowledge of Python.
- Good knowledge of Apache Spark and distributed data processing.
- Ability to develop scripts/programs for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.

Analytics & Reporting

- Experience developing dashboards, reports, KPIs, and analytical views.
- Ability to identify trends and patterns from large datasets and translate them into meaningful insights.
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools.
- Ability to quickly learn, understand, and deploy new reporting and analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of data aggregation, filtering, drill-downs, and analytical reporting requirements.

Experience & Qualifications





- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in data analytics, data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Experience working as part of a data/analytics team, preferably in a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or similar role.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and enterprise-level reporting environments.
- Experience in developing dashboards and analytical solutions for business/project stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working on large-scale government, education, e-governance, or enterprise data platforms.
- Experience with high-volume transactional and analytical datasets.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
- Understanding of distributed systems and big-data technologies.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and analytical environments.
- Good understanding of data quality, governance, security, and access-control concepts.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum-based project environments.
