About the position
The Early Phase Earth Scientist is responsible and accountable for delivering technical support to business segments to enable asset growth through brownfield and post-initial investment decision greenfield opportunities. The successful candidate should have broad experience across geology and geophysics disciplines and will deliver subsurface characterization that may include seismic interpretation, well log and surveillance data integration, 3D reservoir modelling, resource maturation, well maturation, and technology deployment.

and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Expertise in integrated subsurface characterization, including demonstrated knowledge of seismic interpretation, seismic attribute analysis (pre and post stack) , mapping, log interpretation, stratigraphy, structural geology, clastic depositional workplace, 3D reservoir model building, and volumetric assessment.
Ability to utilize and integrate multiple datasets (e.g., logs, seismic, pressure, geochem., rock quality, etc.) for integrated interpretation and earth modelling.
Proficient in Petrel and able to utilize/update static models, collaborate with engineers, and support new model construction.
Experience utilizing workflows and tools for generating new asset development opportunities to mature resource
