About you and this role
Dow has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Data Engineer, based in Navi Mumbai (India). This role will be a member of the Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S;) Information Technology team.
As a Data Engineer specializing in EHS&S; solutions, you will work with a cross-functional team whose objective is to deliver solutions that drive business value for Dow.



The Data Engineer will focus on ingestion / persistence / curation of data as defined by specific EHS&S; projects.
Responsibilities
Own the development and deployment of EHS&S; solutions enabling data ingestion, storage, and consumption across Dow's enterprise data platforms (Azure based).
Create data pipelines for EHS&S; projects and projects in the Azure environment. Develop and deploy scalable and efficient data processing pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other relevant technologies.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support their data needs.
Continuously monitor, test, and improve data architecture and performance, and identify opportunities for innovating with digital capabilities aiming to accelerate Dow’s digital transformation.
Deployment of Azure services using Infrastructure as Code and Azure DevOps.
