About the Role:

PayU Payments is looking for an Assistant Manager – Sales to manage and grow relationships with existing merchants and business accounts. This role will primarily focus on farming accounts, driving revenue growth, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and ensuring robust client engagement.

The ideal candidate should have experience in account management, relationship management, or B2B sales, preferably within the fintech, payments, banking, or technology sector.

Responsibilities:

Manage and strengthen relationships with existing merchants and business accounts.

Drive account growth through upselling and cross-selling relevant products and solutions.

Understand client business needs and recommend suitable payment solutions.





Identify opportunities to increase transaction volumes, revenue, and product adoption.

Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.

Coordinate with internal teams including operations, product, technology, risk, compliance, and support to resolve client requirements.

Track account performance, revenue pipelines, and business growth plans.

Conduct regular business reviews and share relevant insights with clients.

Retain existing accounts by ensuring a high-quality client experience.

Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and forecasts.

Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and developments in the digital payments industry.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in sales, account management, relationship management, or business development.

Experience in farming existing accounts and achieving revenue or growth targets.
