Role Description The Purchasing Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Lucknow, responsible for overseeing all procurement activities to support ongoing construction and engineering projects.
This role includes identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring timely availability of materials, equipment, and services in line with project specifications and budgets. The Purchasing Manager will maintain accurate purchase records, monitor inventory levels, and collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement plans with project timelines. Day-to-day tasks involve analyzing market trends, preparing purchase orders, managing vendor performance, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations. The role also includes optimizing procurement processes, resolving supply issues, and contributing to cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
