Role Description The AI, Operations & Client Solutions Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata within Matrix360 Consulting.

This is a cross-functional role suited to someone interested in working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, consulting, marketing, communication, operations and client solutions.

The associate will work across live client assignments, helping understand business requirements, structure problems, conduct research, develop solutions and coordinate their execution.

Assignments may involve business and market diagnostics, growth strategy, go-to-market initiatives, marketing and communication campaigns, lead-generation programs, presentations, stakeholder engagement, operational improvement and other business transformation initiatives.

A significant part of the role will involve using AI as an active part of the consulting and execution process. This may include working with platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Codex and other emerging AI tools for research, analysis, content development, workflow design and problem-solving.

The role will also increasingly involve exploring automation, AI-enabled workflows and agentic systems — identifying repetitive or fragmented processes and helping design more intelligent ways for work to move from requirement to execution.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include:





- Participating in client meetings and understanding business and communication requirements
- Researching markets, companies, audiences and business problems
- Supporting business diagnostics and strategy development
- Developing marketing, communication and go-to-market initiatives
- Working with generative AI platforms across client assignments
- Designing and improving workflows, follow-up systems and operational processes
- Exploring automation and agentic AI applications
- Preparing presentations, reports, proposals and client communication
- Coordinating with creative, technology, marketing and execution partners
- Monitoring projects and ensuring that activities progress from idea through implementation
- Identifying opportunities where AI, automation or process redesign can create measurable business value
- Contributing to the development of recent AI-enabled consulting solutions within Matrix360

We are looking for someone who is curious, structured, creative and execution-oriented.

The person should be comfortable with ambiguity, capable of learning quickly and interested in solving problems rather than working within narrowly defined functional boundaries.

Strong communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with clients are important. Experience or familiarity with generative AI, automation platforms, workflows or AI agents would be an advantage.

The role is particularly suited to someone who wants to work in an entrepreneurial, AI-native consulting environment where capabilities, systems and solutions are still being actively created and refined.

The objective is not simply to use AI tools, but to understand how AI, technology, strategy and human judgment can be combined to create better outcomes for businesses and their stakeholders.
