Position Overview

A new-age Wealth and Asset Management platform in India catering to HNIs, UHNIs and multi-family offices, is seeking a skilled AI Engineer with hands-on expertise in Machine Learning, NLP, and

Generative AI. The role involves designing, building, and deploying AI-powered solutions using modern frameworks and MLOps practices. The ideal candidate will work with product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions, managing data pipelines and integrating structured/unstructured data. Neo has amassed over USD 3 Billion of Assets Under Advice within 2 years and recently partnered with Peak XV Partners.

Key Responsibilities

Design, train, and deploy machine learning models for real-world applications

Implement NLP-based solutions including Zero-Shot and Few-Shot classification algorithms

Apply TF-IDF, Word2Vec, and BERT for text-based processing tasks

Develop and fine-tune Generative AI models (OpenAI, LLaMA, etc.) for business use cases

Work with ML algorithms (Linear Regression, Decision Trees, KNN, SVM, Random Forest, Logistic

Regression, Bayesian models, etc.)





Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices using Flask/FastAPI

Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions

Manage data pipelines and integrate structured/unstructured data from MongoDB and MySQL

Use Git/Bitbucket for version control and best practices in collaborative coding

Support project management using JIRA/Asana

Required Skills

Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics

Python (DSA) – 3+ years

Machine Learning & Statistics – 3+ years with strong knowledge of at least 6 algorithms (Linear Regression, Decision Trees, KNN, SVM, Random Forest, Logistic Regression, Bayesian models)

NLP – 3+ years (Zero-Shot, Few-Shot classification, TF-IDF, Word2Vec, BERT)

Generative AI – 3+ years (OpenAI models, LLaMA, etc.)

MongoDB & MySQL – 3+ years

Git, Bitbucket – 3+ years

Flask, FastAPI – 3+ years

JIRA, Asana – 3+ years

REST APIs – 1+ years

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

Certification in ML/Deep Learning/NLP

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Ability to adapt quickly to emerging AI technologies

Robust communication skills to work with technical and business teams
