ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Node.js, Type Script, and Nest JS. You will be responsible for designing and developing backend services, APIs, databases, asynchronous processing systems, integrations, and production-ready solutions. You will work closely with product, frontend, QA, Dev Ops, and other engineering teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js, Type Script, and Nest JS. Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs and backend services. Design efficient and scalable database schemas and queries using Postgre SQL. Implement caching and high-performance data access using Redis. Build asynchronous and event-driven systems using at least one messaging or queue technology such as Kafka,



Bull MQ, or Rabbit MQ. Design reliable background jobs, queues, retries, scheduled jobs, and failure-handling mechanisms. Participate in system architecture, technical design, and scalability discussions. Develop clean, reusable, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code. Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control. Integrate with third-party APIs and external services. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve system reliability. Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards. Collaborate with frontend, QA, product, and Dev Ops teams. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when required.
