Role Description The Accounts Receivable Caller is responsible for following up with insurance companies and patients to secure timely payment of outstanding medical claims and balances. This full-time, on-site role is based in Chennai and involves daily phone outreach, status checks on pending claims, and resolution of payment discrepancies. The role includes documenting all interactions in the billing system, updating claim notes, and coordinating with internal teams to address denials, underpayments, and other issues impacting receivables.

Caller will also review account aging reports,



prioritize follow-up activities, and ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken and written English for phone-based collections and follow-ups.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting calls, updating claim information, and reviewing account balances.
- Basic understanding of medical billing, insurance terminology, and revenue cycle processes (experience in healthcare or BPO environments is an advantage).
- Proficiency with computer systems, CRM or billing software, and MS Office tools for data entry and reporting.
- Ability to manage high call volumes, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet productivity and quality targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to resolving payment issues and claim discrepancies.
- Willingness to work in an in office setup in Chennai and adapt to shift timings based on business requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
