Role Description This is a full-time, in office teaching role based in Sirsa for Accounts and Business Studies teachers to teach Cambridge AS & A Level learners. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Cambridge curriculum standards, ensuring clear learning objectives and appropriate assessment methods. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, evaluating student performance through assignments and examinations, and providing constructive feedback to support learner progress.

The role involves maintaining accurate academic records, participating in departmental and staff meetings, and contributing to exam preparation and revision sessions.



The teacher will also support co-curricular academic activities, communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, and uphold the school’s policies and standards of classroom management and professionalism.

Qualifications

- Strong subject knowledge in Accounts and Business Studies, specifically aligned with Cambridge AS & A Level syllabuses.
- Demonstrated skills in lesson planning, classroom instruction, and learner-centered teaching methodologies.
- Ability to design assessments, evaluate student work objectively, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage learners, collaborate with colleagues, and interact with parents/guardians.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to support teaching, learning, and record-keeping.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Business, Accounting, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or B.Ed. is an advantage.
- Prior experience teaching Cambridge or other international curricula at senior secondary level is highly desirable.
