Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Satara. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly and annual financial closing activities. The role involves supporting statutory and tax compliance, generating financial reports for management, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors as needed. The Accountant will also help strengthen internal controls, ensure accurate documentation, and contribute to process improvements within the finance function.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and general ledger management.




- Experience with accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel and other standard office tools.
- Understanding of taxation, compliance, and financial reporting practices relevant to manufacturing or FMCG industries.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines in a quick-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; qualified certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in accounting within a manufacturing, FMCG, or food industry setting is preferred.
